‘Dolphin Boy’ turns into series, premiering on Iranian VODs

Popular animated film ‘Dolphin Boy’ has transformed into series, directed by Reza Fesahat.

Iranian audiences are to witness the expansion of popular animated film ‘Dolphin Boy’ into a series, directed by Reza Fesahat.

Following its success in cinemas, the first episode of the animated series ‘Dolphin Boy’ is set to debut on March 16, 2024 across Iranian VOD platforms.

According to a report by IRNA, ‘Dolphin Boy’ follows the adventures of its titular character, tasked with safeguarding the sea and its inhabitants.

Despite his noble duty, the sea remains under threat, particularly from a malevolent octopus and his accomplice, Shami.

As challenges escalate, Dolphin Boy must harness his wits and unite with other marine creatures to protect the vast ocean blue.

The creative team behind ‘Dolphin Boy’ includes writer Mona Abdollah-Shahi, character designer Mohammad Kheirandish, animation supervisors Morteza Yari and Saeed Bigonah, special effects supervisor Sina Taqizadeh, and voice over supervisor Hamed Azizi.

Audiences can look forward to the release of subsequent episodes on a weekly basis.
